I was so excited to send these invitations to my family and friends this month!
We wanted to do a couples baby shower that combined a little of both of our personalities, my husband being an incredible nerd for books and sciencey-space-related subjects, and I being the artistic one.
I’ve always been drawn to the simplicity of the Dick & Jane stories, so they set the inspiration for this piece. And yes, I had to design my own baby shower invitations, though I am not planning the event itself. I’ve left that in the capable hands of two very amazing girl friends. My wonderfully talented twin sister will be doing the invitations for the second shower being thrown for us, so I had to take the opportunity to play with this!
I’m almost as thrilled about these as I am to meet this little lady person in November :•)
