Our Process

We like to get to know our customers before starting design work on a project, especially for totally custom designs. Share your ideas and visions about yourself and your story, your color palette, your personal style, or any other creative extras. The more detail the better!

We schedule a limited number of projects each week. This allows us to give you the personal attention you and your invitations deserve. In your quote, you will see a few important dates. Your design start date is the beginning of your design week. We will need all of your basic details (names, dates, locations, paper/color preferences, etc.) finalized before that day. Your final approval date is the very last day you have to make changes to your project, including adding/removing/updating addresses. Any changes after that date will incur additional fees.

In between those dates, we’re on your time. We’re happy to answer questions, make revisions (see the section below), and do whatever we can to make your invitations perfect.

We will provide a fully detailed free quote discussing all materials you wish to include in your order. Payment is required before any design work begins. You may pay a 50% deposit up front to start the design, with the remainder due before printing. (Due to their short timeline, rush orders must be paid in full before design or printing begins).

When your customized design is complete, you will receive a PDF proof to review. A printed proof is available for $30.00 + Shipping after your order has been confirmed and a deposit has been paid. One week will be added to your project deadline to allow for printing and shipping a customized proof.

2 rounds of revisions to your initial proof are included with customizable orders. Proof versions will be noted in the file name. Revisions needed after “Proof 3” will incur additional charges, determined by the nature of the revisions necessary. These charges are to be paid in full before the order ships. Order quantity changes and other edits requested AFTER the order has been approved AND sent to printing will also incur additional charges. Balances due in these cases are always billed via Paypal.

The design will send to print with your final approval of all materials.

All U.S. orders ship 2-3 day Priority mail. You will receive a notification with tracking number upon shipment. International orders usually arrive within 2 weeks after shipment. Customs fees may apply.
