Feeling crafty? We certainly encourage saving some cash by doing your own assembly.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY TIPS
• For invitations with ribbon, stuff into envelopes with the bow touching the FRONT of the envelope. This allows the flap in the back to lay much flatter when sealing to avoid wrinkled flap edges.
• If envelope glue isn’t holding, use a Tape Runner (it’s actually much faster than licking)
• Wax seals have a strong bond adhesive applied to the back. Remove the backing and press firmly to the sealed envelope flap.
• Use sharp scissors to trim the edges of pre-cut ribbons after tying for a clean edge.
• Wrinkled satin ribbon can be ironed on a medium/cool setting.

TOOLS SHOPPING LIST
Scoring Tool
Tombow Permanent Tape Runner (and Refills)
Double Sided Scotch Tape
Blunt Tipped “Pencil” Scoring Tool

Most designs with folds come pre-scored, but a scoring tool is a MUST to allow the piece to lay flat and fit best into the whole suite. For pieces that require adhesive, a double sided permanent tape runner is most efficient for many designs. Double sided Scotch tape is more heavy duty, needed for some designs requiring a stronger bond (discussed in each applicable tutorial). You won’t even need scissors for twine or ribbon. We’ll have everything pre-cut for you.
