Delays or unexpected changes to your order may occur.
There has been a surge in demand with the events industry finally opening up after the Covid-19 pandemic. This is now mostly affecting supply chain and shipping issues that are unfortunately out of our control.
PRODUCTION DELAYS
Invitation orders may ship 2-4 days later than the proposed ship date. Foil stamped jobs require additional time since we outsource, and postal services may cause delays. One of the new supply chain issues we are keeping an eye on are raw materials sourced from Russia or Ukraine, which are used in the printing process. We do not know how our services will be affected by this in the near future.
OUT OF STOCK SUPPLIES
We have experienced some items like ribbon, envelopes, and some paper styles being back ordered until they come in with our vendors due to supply chain issues and delays with the postal service from many carriers.
Paper mills have also dropped some paper styles permanently. Other papers (some that we use regularly) may require longer wait times. Our print shop usually does large pre-orders of these to avoid the wait, but please be aware that you may need to be flexible, to decide whether to wait (timing varies) or change your preferences if timing is an issue.
SHIPPING TIMES
US and International postal services are still experiencing some delays, but we have noticed this mostly with First Class or International packages via USPS. US orders might experience a few days or up to a week delay. International orders have been difficult to know what to expect. We’ve had 3-5 day International Express Mail take 2-3 weeks, and we recently had a 6-10 day International Priority package take exactly 2 months (8 weeks) to arrive and clear customs.
Please take these delays into account when scheduling your order with us. Here’s what we have found to be recent trends:
• US First Class (3-5 days) may be 2-5 days longer
• US Priority Mail (2-3 days) may be 2 days longer
• International Priority (6-10 days) may be 3-8 weeks longer
• International Express (3-5 days) may be 2-3 weeks longer
