Our Cure for Quarantine Boredom – Free Craft for Kids & Adults!

With all of the fear, uncertainty, and doubt going around right now, we’d like to bring you a little hope, a packet of sunshine, and a lot of fun with this free craft for kids (and adults)!

First off, a little bit about our business continuity during this time. Paper Truly is operated from our home, in partnership with a local print shop and 3rd party vendors for things like envelopes and embellishments. As of this writing, we have been in touch with our partners and are planning to continue to operate as normal. Because this is in our home, our efforts to step up our hand washing/sanitation and our practice of social distancing also benefit you, our customers. We will let current customers know as soon as we do of any interruptions to our production schedule, should we or any of our partners have to suspend operations due to COVID-19. If you need to postpone a shipping date, please contact us ASAP so we can reschedule for you.

We are still booking projects for the rest of 2020 and into 2021. If you suddenly find yourself with extra time to plan a wedding, mitzvah, or other event, we are here for you!

Now, the Fun Stuff!

Unusual fun can be so life-giving for kids and adults, so we’ve put together this free origami activity for you! (Adults, we really encourage you to try this, too!) We’ve come up with a design for ages 2-6 and a 6+ design – but feel inspired to get in touch with your childhood and try both! A bit of silliness is a welcomed change of pace for you today, we promise. (Especially if you don’t have kids and you’re not used to being silly!) Without further ado, and with no small amount of irony, we’d like to present our “Cootie Catcher”!

Check out that awesome office Epson printer quality on these! A trip to our print shop for quality prints on this is not considered “essential” in the scheme of things these days. No health risks were taken in the creation of this activity.

Download both print-at-home designs here.
Tools Needed:
  Scissors and a printer.

I asked my daughter to help me show you how to fold and how to play with this origami activity, so here we go! :

Enjoy! 🙂
